ORNATE GLASS DECANTER. 8.2ins tall. (G11-7) McKearin reference/ line drawing charts).Mid green glass, very heavily decorated - six lines of diaomands above the lower vertical raised ribs (horizontal lines above & below) another band of diamonds below. Although attributed to the New England region, possibly Keene (N.H.), Marlboro Street Glassworks. This example was discovered in lower Scotland area & at least another three such have appeared over the years to the best of my knowledge suggesting there may well be a North of England manufacturing connection? Extremely rare & a significant offering.
