The Princess Margaret handwritten letter on Kensington Palace headed notepaper bearing the princess's cypher with corresponding envelope, addressed to Anthony Gardner of The Purple Shop, dated December 9 1970, thanking him for the gift of a butterfly silver clasp, signed 'yours very sincerely Margaret'. Along with a press cutting detailing a visit by the Princess to the Kings Road Antiquarius antique market and the purchase of a butterfly brooch from The Purple Shop.
