Victorian British Royal Navy Officers Sword, standard pattern Naval officers sword with lion head top, large dish guard with crowned fouled anchor to the centre, fish skin grip with wire binding. Fold down guard to the reverse. Foliate decoration rubbed to blade. ‘Proved’ stamp to base of blade. Blade length 77cm, overall length 92.5cm.
