An antique gold hexagon shaped propelling pencil by Sampson Mordon. Floral engraving throughout. Hexagonal top set with bloodstone, with carved initials. Top and slider decorated with small round turquoise stones (one stone missing). Top unscrews to reveal extra leads. Marked 'S Mordan & Co' to body and 'M' to nib. Body and cap test as 18ct gold, nib tests as 9ct gold. Approx. 8cm long not extended.
