An Absolon beaker circa 1800, of swollen tumbler form with upper and lower threaded decoration to the swollen barrel form with engraved monogram, height 11.5cm, together with a small later tumbler with slice cut body and deep star cut base, later gilded 'A TRIFLE FROM YARMOUTH FOR MY DEAR LOUISA FRANCES', height 7cm. (2)

N.B - A matched example of the Absolon tumbler is seen in plate 16 - Glass in Norfolk - Dr David Stuart.

The second glass in the lot is believed to have been decorated by Absolons successor Ann Dyball circa 1820s

There is a very small frit to the threading and some wear to the gilding.
