A 19TH CENTURY SUBSTANTIAL SECRETAIRE DESK, this antique piece of furniture is of great quality. The pulling out of the secretaire drawer which holds the leather topped writing surface & storage simultaneously opens the upper section which features a fitted interior with pigeon holes and drawers. To the lower section is a two door cabinet & a pair of graduated column supports. All raised on platform base with castors beneath. Condition: this piece is over all structurally sound it does require some restoration. There is some chipping and ware from use over the years which would be expected. Minor loss to the veneers in places. There are some drawer-pulls missing to the fitted interior. Dimensions:
