1939 Dated British Mk II Helmet with liner but no chin strap. Makers Marked H.G (not home guard as they were not formed until at least a year later) Painted in 8th Army Colours. Although it looks very authentic, there is a chance (as with all decaled helmets) the decal could have been painted later. Either way this helmet would take pride of place in any collection.
