Irish Historical History: A linen section remembering the sinking of R.M.S. Leinster (possibly from Frongoch Internment Camp). The Leinster was torpedoed by a German submarine having just left Kingstown (now Dun Laoghaire). Also known as the Dublin mad boat, the Leinster was carrying 813 passengers of whom 569 lost their lives. She went down just outside Dublin Bay.
