Petite viola circa 1800, the one piece back of faint medium curl with similar wood to the sides, the head of plainish wood, the table of a fine/medium width grain and the varnish of a reddish-brown colour on a golden ground, 14 15/16", 37.90cm
This viola appear in reasonable condition with only a few cosmetic issues, we believe the instrument is probably German and there is no known provenance, not certain if the neck and scroll are original to the body so see further images for guidance, personal viewing always advised when possible
