A fabulous original oil on canvas painting titled "Bright Day Ireland's Eye" by the listed Irish artist Marcel Lindsay, showing a coastal view of the titular island in rich greens and royal blues. Signed bottom right and dated to 2022. Nicely housed in a white frame.
Lindsay (b.1968), is a Dublin born artist who took up painting in 2018 following a holiday to West Cork. Working primarily in acrylic and pen, his paintings powerfully capture the mood and colour of the sea, allowing the Dublin coastline to feed the narrative of his work.
