Features a highly saturated and abstracted landscape scene rendered in highly gestural and dynamic brushstrokes creating an energetic and lively scene. The use of bright colours and contrasting tones enhances this visually stimulating piece. Signed bottom right Fred J. Aarvik (b. 1918 - d. 1974). Aarvik was a well known Norwegian landscape painter favouriting landscape scenes of his home country. Would look lovely framed.
