AN 19TH CENTURY BRASS REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK. the eight day two train movement striking the quarters to a gong, in a brass moulded case with five bevelled glass panels, the dial and movement each signed 'Payne & Co, 163 New Bond St, London', stamped serial number 769 to the movement and twice to the base, height excluding handle 13cm. *CR Appears to wind and strike at time of cataloguing although functionality not guaranteed, lacking key, hairline cracks to top left corner of dial, scratches to movement backplate, light wear and tarnishing to case.
