An English delftware punch bowl, London, c1750-60, painted to the exterior with a continuous  landscape with sponged trees, ruins and a man with raised right arm and pointing hand, 30cm diam
A remarkeably similar but slightly smaller example in the collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum is discussed Archer (Michael) - Delft Ware: The Tin-Glazed Earthenware of the British Isles, London 1997, fig. F.29. The museum's example features a pointing lady; another bowl with a pointing lady and a man leaning on a stick some distance away, with  similar sketchily painted landscape was illustrated Horne (J) - Collection of early English Pottery Parts I-X, No 255
