A Chinese jade figure of a female immortal, Qing Dynasty, 19th century. The standing figure wearing long robes and holding a basket in her right hand and possibly a fruit in her left, with an assoicated rectangular wood stand, jade height 15cm, width 4cm, depth 3cm, stand height 2cm. Private collection of a Parisian lady (1876-1964), whence by family descent to the present South West Cornwall vendor. We can see no chips, cracks or restoration.
