To the front a King’s Crown helmet plate to the centre the Cinque Ports device set against scarlet cloth A title strap is embossed “Royal Sussex Regiment.”. The interior with a leather sweatband and silk edging. The helmet remains in fine condition, with minor surface mothing to the scarlet backing badge cloth. Retains original fitted helmet plate. ... Accompanied by the original metal storage tin retailed through J & B Pearse & Co of London and brass name plate "T.A.S. MASTERS ESQ 5th (CINQUE PORTS) Bn ROYAL SISSEX REGT".
