31 1/4 inch, single edged blade with wide fuller. Etched foliage scroll panels and Mexican eagle over Naval anchor. Forte with maker "Miller & Son London & Southampton". Gilt brass, British style naval guard with rear folding panel, eagle, snake and anchor cartouche. Eagle head pommel and backstrap. White shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Complete with gilt, naval pattern sword knot.
