A George III period helmet-shaped neo-classical-style hallmarked silver cream jug; gadrooned rim and high arched handle, the main body with oval cartouche engraved with monogram, the body further bright-cut engraved with flowers and swags etc., maker's mark CH, assayed London probably 1792, with interesting presentation inscription to the underside 'From her Godfather Capt. R. Fitzmaurice RN. January 1918' (13.5cm to tip of handle)
