A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the central oval, mixed cut sapphire (measuring approx 3.16ct), within a surround of fourteen old cut diamonds, all in metal setting to the tapering shoulders and plain yellow gold hoop, stamped '18 PLAT', gross weight 5.35gms, ring size N

With accompanying Gem and Pearl Laboratory Sapphire Report number 18593, stating that the sapphire is of natural origin, with no evidence of heat treatment.

More Information

Please note: We cannot provide videos of the rings. The first and second picture are taken in natural daylight and the third is taken in studio lighting. This is accompanied by a report which does not state it's origin, but does state it to be natural.

Overall condition is good. There is a small fracture to the centre stone running across one of the outer star facets, but no other fractures, cracks, nibbles or scratches. We are unable to provide accurate colour and clarity assessments for the diamonds due to their size and setting, but they appear bright, sparkly and white when viewed with the naked eye face up, and under a 10x lens they do appear clean. There is some minor wear to the claws, but they are in tact and all stones are secure. Settings and shank are in good order, with no thinning, splitting, misshaping or signs of repair - minor scratching and wear only.
