1899 (Nov 14) piece from the De La Rue day book, with stamp-size duty die proofs in black on glazed card for the 1900 6c, 30c, 75c, 1r50 and 2r25 new values, endorsed 'Nov 14 / 60 leads from / each' and crossed through in red ink. A fine and unique item. Ex Weiss (Harmers 15 Dec 2004, lot 323 (part)). N.B. Although prepared, the 30c duty remained unadopted until the introduction of this value in the KEVII 1903 issue.
