BWM named (Capt D D Bulger) served E.Surrey Regt and later RASC. He was an athlete prominent in the Irish sporting world in the late 19th century. He was one of the 79 Delegates who attended the Congress of the Sorbonne in Paris 1894 that triggered the restarting of the Olympic Games of the modern era in Athens in 1896. Between 1885 and 1892 he was the Winner of 25 Gold Medals at various Irish Athletic Championships. Between 1889 and 1892 he won five British AAA Championships. Lots of research. (1)
