A VICTORIAN SILVER BEAKER
by Henry William Curry, London 1871, the tapering deep bowl chased with Classical figures and swags on a matted ground below a beaded rim, raised on a circular foot, presentation engraving dated 1872. 11.6cm high, 6.3 troy ounces
The marks are clear. The foot is slightly misshapen and there for the beaker wobbles. There is a tiny split in the rim. There is a good definition of decoration.
