A George III period All Souls Common Room of Oxford seal marked dark green wine bottle, circa 1760. Of true cylinder form with a flat string rim, long neck, conical kick-up base and impressed seal to the body bearing the initials A.S.C.R. for All Souls Common Room of Oxford (1st A.S.C.R seal). An A.S.C.R. wine bottles book by Fay Banks is also included, see page 49 for a very similar example. 27.7 cm height.
Condition report: Light age related wear. No chips or cracks present.
