Belgium: Liege - related, written up collection of pre-stamp letters and related postal history of 1630 to 1815 in red 'Centaur' album, over 45 items. Correspondence includes nobility, government, politics and military with 'Arm Sambre', 'Arm du E Rien' and 'Arm Francaise en Espagne' of Napoleonic period noted. Addressees in France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands. Express impressed 'de Liege', scarcer 'Hollande par Hammont' transit and French republican calendar dating and mail coach receipt 1779. Mostly entires, including five from 1630 to 1698 period 

From the collection of Tom Pring, a highly respected member of the Belgian Study Circle and the author of two works on Belgian issues, ‘Fine Barbe Varieties’ (2009) and ‘1893 Armoires du Royaume’ (2015). Pring was half-way through a work on the Ostend-Dover Route, which he was sadly unable to complete.
