STAMPS GERMANY, 1918 23rd Sept - first German slogan postmarks were introduced in Bavaria. Postcard with 'Hilf siegen / Zeichne / Kriegsanleihe!' slogan postmark dated on the first day of issue - 'Munchen / 23.9.18'. This slogan was withdrawn on 10 Oct after only 17 days in use. A rare item!
