AN 18TH CENTURY COURT CUPBOARD / CABINET, standing with a strong presence with a two over two cabinet arrangement; topped off with two hanging newels; the front richly carved with a frieze consisting of foliate s-scrolls, between which sits carved initials of A. C. which is potentially referring to the original owners; the top section cabinets are accompanied by ‘greenman’ style carvings and Ionic foliate columns, between which sits a central arched panel, the lower base sections holds a further pair of cabinet doors; all doors decorated with marquetry inlaid designs, and fitted with ornate brass escutcheons; all sitting on simple block style feet. 6ft x 4ft x 20inches (H x W x D).
