1942 (Oct 8) locally addressed envelope from the 'Chinese Chamber of Commerce', franked with 1937-41 Straits Settlements 3c green and 5c brown, each handstamped with ‘Dai-Nippon Teikoku Seifu' (Imperial Japanese Government) chop in violet (as Brunei Jap Occ ‘Type 1’ in SG part 1) , tied by 'Labuan/8 OC/1942 double ring cds. Cover reduced during opening at left edge and with small mark next to stamps, still a fine and extremely rare franking. BPA cert (2023)
