A large 20th century Southeast Asian heavily carved hardwood coffer box. The coffer having a hinged cover opening to reveal a spacious interior within. To the front carved decoration depicting the Tathagata Buddhas (the five Buddhas) with further carved decorated borders. All raised on a carved plinth base. Measures approx. 55cm x 185cm x 46cm.
