Condition externally is good, though the brassware shows considerable wear, with dents and abrasions generally. The baize covering the bottom surface is badly worn, with all original edges lost. The wood is in generally good condition, with marks and knocks in places.
Internal condition is very good. The skiver has a couple of small tears but overall finish is fresh and fairly clean. The pen rest section has some small losses to its edges. Keys are present for both internal and external locks.
Snakeskin folio is generally good, though the leather is a little dehydrated. Scuffs in places; marks externally and internally,.
