A worksplate, LMS REBUILT 1896 HORWICH, from a Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway 0-6-0ST, an Aspinall rebuild as a saddle tank in February 1896 of a Barton Wright 528 Class 0-6-0 No 322 built in July 1881. It became LMS 11444 and BR 51444 and spent its final years as a shunter at Crewe Works where it was cut up in September 1961. The engine number is chalked on the back. Cast brass, 10½"x6", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
