A SAMANID SLIP PAINTED POTTERY SPOUTED BOWL, 10TH CENTURY AD, PERSIA. The deep circular bowl with a projecting spout, decorated with a pale pink glaze and red and brown foliate ornament of palmettes incised with scroll decoration, 22cm diameter, 10cm high

The bowl is restored with the back half from a number of sections that have been glued back together, the area around the spout and two one side also glued back together, some chips.
