*Condition: Relined and restored, with signs of the varnish having broken down across the darker areas to the foreground and trees. Scattered retouching visible under UV across the canvas, notably to margins, tree to left side and craquelure in darker areas. Some strengthening visible in places, notably to the roofs of the town buildings. Stretcher line to top margin and some craquelure visible across the sky. Small scratch to varnish surface upper left margin.
