Waterloo Period 1796 Heavy Cavalry Trooper's Sword


34 3/4 inch, single edged hatchet point blade with large fuller.  Back edge with faint maker's name.  Steel disk guard with eight edge holes.  Double pointed langets.  Steel knuckle bow.  The guard with internal diamond shape reinforcement panel.  Plain steel backstrap with grip ears.  Grooved wooden grip.  Contained in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.  Exterior steel pitted and black painted.  Scabbard with various dents.
