Military Cross unnamed as issued, cased, 1914 Star Trio (Lieut J Morris RAMC) and (Major J Morris on pair). Killed In Action 7th Oct 1918. Buried Bellicourt British Cemetery. Widow lived St Chads, Colwyn Bay. MC L/G 20 Oct 1916 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during operations. He led his stretcher-bearers to collect wounded in full view of the enemy's position, and set a fine example to all near him. He has done other similar gallant work'. (4)
