A late Victorian silver miniature playing cards box by Grey & Co, Birmingham 1900, plain cuboid with hinged cover; together with a late Victorian silver vesta case by William Neale & Sons, Chester 1899, rounded rectangular, engraved all over with scrolling foliage, the cartouche engraved with initials. (2) Miniature playing cards box 4.7cm high, 3.7cm square, 2 troy ounces gross

Box - marks clear and well struck. Cover closes securely. Light tarnish, minor dings and surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
Vesta - marks clear and well struck. Slight rubbing to foliate engraving at lower corners. Light surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
