A large Victorian silver plated table epergne centre piece, modelled as a tree with hanging baskets, approx 50cm high with a Registration mark lozenge to the base, on a circular silver plated mirror plateau (2)

More Information

The inscription says "Presented, along with two dessert stands, The Revd William Gordon, minister of abernethy, by the inhabitants of Ruthwell, as a memorial, of the zealous and faithful discharge of his ministerial duties, during the twelve years he laboured amongst them, 7th June, 1871"

Some signs of wear, particularly on the base stand. Distortion of the basket handles.
