A mid 18th century French ormolu mantel clock, with ornate pierced foliate scroll case and enamelled Roman dial, unsigned eight day countwheel movement, height 15in.
CONDITION: Very good probably recently restored condition with bright shiny ormolu, just some of the attachment screws showing as a darker colour, dial in good clean order as are the hands, movement complete and going but not tested for timekeeping, comes with silk suspension and a later winding key.
