A delightful original acrylic on board painting featuring a farmyard scene of group of hens in a barn. Very finely observed with wonderful texture achieved in the rendition of the birds soft feathers and the long golden hay, in contrast to the shorter strokes rendering the leafy green foliage in the background. Reminiscent of the works of Edgar Hunt. Signed indistinctly (Mizchel, Mitchel) bottom right and housed in a smart wood and gilt frame.
