NOTE: Created following the visit of the artist and his wife Josephine to see their daughter Andrea on a cold grey day in Gruyere, Switzerland. Andrea was recovering from illness and felt cold, so she popped into a shop and bought a brightly coloured scarf. John was so struck by the contrast between the scarf and the day that he took a photograph and then made this sculpture.
