An unusual short sword. Probably Sinhalese 19th century, slightly curved SE blade 46cms, hook-shaped silvered copper octagonal section hilt chased with foliage and with makarra head finial, hilt surmounted by a stylised lion (each animal originally with inlaid glass eyes, 1 remaining). GC £80-120
