Napoleonic Prisoner of War straw work box, early 19th Century. Exterior with images of towns and building to each side, raised on bun feet. Internally it has a mirror to the lid, the main box has a central pin cushion, two ink wells and two narrow lift flap compartments. The pin cushion together with the three decorative panels slide out to reveal compartments below including a central one with three drawers and a hidden compartment. W 33cm, D 22cm, H 13.5cm.
