A Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway three-aspect handlamp, with brass plate 2507, MELTON, PASS. The body, collar and top of the handle are each stamped M&GNJR. The lamp is complete with its LNER vessel and interior fittings and is in original condition. Melton Constable was the operational headquarters of the Joint Line. (Postage Band: C)
