RCA BN-6A Remote Transistor Mixer Amplifier.
Has had recent restoration work done but is not functional due to possible dry joints. Also needs some bolts replacing internally, and may have other issues. No balancing input transformers present.

"The RCA BN-6B Germanium Transistor based portable remote amplifier, was one of RCA’s initial foray in solid-state technology. These mixers have the capability of putting out a total of 87 db. of gain. The character is unique, the transient is response is slow, think of a Neve Mic pre-response but with a beautiful mid-range that can sound slightly gritty at times, but I find that cool, personally for certain things. Just another color within the wide pallet of sounds available that makes things sound that much cooler at the end of the day." - Carlos Castro

Recap of all electrolytics
Rebuilt one mic pot
Rebuilt VU meter
Rebuilt one cannon xlr input
Replaced broken tag strip and components
Fitted mains cable and earthed
Replaced head phones socket
Replaced binding post for output and cable made up.
In good condition with scuffs and wear to the face. The case is missing it's screws and is loose from the chassis.
Sold as is with no warranty. Owing to the age of this item we'd be foolish to claim it may not have other faults that only come to light once it is running.
