1821 Pattern King William IV Cavalry Officer's Sword


35 1/2 inch, single edged, slightly curved, pipe back blade with quill point.  Etched crowned WRIV cypher within a laurel wreath.  Forte with maker "Hawely Moself & Sons London Manufacturers To The King" (maker faint).  Steel, three bar guard and downturn quillon. Stepped pommel and plain backstrap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its blackened steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.  Minor rusting to hilt.
