1900-02 Covers from George Gordon Hake to his wife in London, the first cover franked 1896-99 10p on 20pf (the stamp soiled, reused?) cancelled at Kilimatinde (14 Jan. 01), endorsed "By German Mail to the East Coast from Kassanga, 27-12-00"; the second cover with Yacht type 10p cancelled at Ujiji (July 8), endorsed "via Ujiji", Dar-Es-Salaam backstamps. The first a little soiled but an intriguing pair, both clearly from the interior of Africa and carried by runner. (2).
