Collection of late 19th/early 20th century copper jelly moulds including three marked for Colley above 1926 Dublin, another stamped FFCT above M&S, no.35, examples moulded with grapes, corn on the cob, a laurel wreath and others in traditional lobed forms, 15 cm high max.
Of the three marked Colley Dublin 1926, all have some surface scratching, one (with grapes) is slightly misshapen and with slight denting. The tallest (of all) is the Colley corn on the cobb mould and this is 15cm high. Oval example with FFCT M&S marks - small pin hole visible to body, short split to top, signs of old soldered repairs to several highpoints of mouldings at top, slightly misshapen to rim. Some wear, particularly to high points of moulding. Laurel wreath, stamped M&S, 499, with orb and sceptre, star and 82 marks - some wear to highpoints of moulding and slightly misshapen. Large traditional pierced example - with dent at one side near footrim, several dents to moulded top. Slightly misshapen and surface wear. Smaller traditional pierced example - stamped 501 with orb and sceptre, noticeable surface wear, some dents and misshaping. Smaller traditional pierced example - signs of old repaired splits, some surface wear, denting, and minor misshaping. Some wear throughout.
