Two Illuminated paintings on vellum and an illuminated music book, to include: a hand painted illuminated initial 'WHR' inscribed 'Ex Libris, William Heath Robinson', 16 x 20 cm, with label printed 'Mary H. Robinson' verso; a second illuminated initial 'OJR' inscribed 'Ex Libris, Oliver John Robinson' 11.5 x 25 cm, both framed and glazed. With a hand painted and illuminated music book of 'Cherry Ripe', illuminated by Mary Heath Robinson, sister of W.H.R. The paintings in this music book suggest that these illuminated initials may also have been painted by Mary Heath Robinson. Together with a copy of the book 'Cranford' by Mrs. Gaskell, illustrated by T.H. Robinson (Bliss Sands, 1896), with the initial 'M.H.R.' embossed into the leather cover. Provenance: consigned for sale from the estate of a family member W. Heath Robinson. (4)
In good condition but vellum slightly wrinkled which has in turn cracked the gold leaf around the letter 'R', all remaining parts of the item in good order
