Of Royal interest: Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood, an attractive French sewing etui, circa 1830, the hinged case of oval section and tapering form, the lid inlaid with gilt metal leaves and mother-of-pearl within a ivory line border (one small section missing). The lid interior in white silk, the flush fitted base in beige velvet with fancy gold needle case, gold handled bodkin, steel bladed scissors with gold arms and loops and a gold thimble, case 12.5cm.
