A fine Japanese cloisonne enamel vase / lamp, Meiji Period, decorated with fine silver wire quails beside blossoms and butterfly on midnight blue ground, vase height 23cm
Bottom rim has been drilled and overpainted, two parts of the main decoration on body have an impact mark with radiating cracks and both have also been overpainted, both quails have hairline cracks to enamel on bodies, no other damage or restoration.
