A pair of 18ct gold enamelled cufflinks by Cropp & Farr, each oval panel depicting the head of a dog, 18mm x 13mm, both cufflinks stamped 'C&F', one with hallmarks for London 1928, gross weight of pair 9.4gms

Overall condition is good. There is heavy scratching the enamelled portraits, cracks and small fractures to the glazing (please see pictures provided). There is heavy scratching to the gold ground. Hallmarks have slight wear, but are clear. Some thinning to the curb links of the chains, but no splitting and no signs of repair to the reverse of the panels or the chains.


PLEASE NOTE: The example with the Old English Sheepdog and the Pointer are fully hallmarked to each panel. Please note that there is no C&F hallmark to the link depicting a black spaniel, it is simply stamped '18CT', and the panel with the terrier simple has a C&F mark.
