The dagger appears totally unmarked although the blade is etched in Cyrillic "Duty and Honour".
The blade measures approx 24cm with the overall dagger length being approx 38cm long.

The pommel is in the form of a crown with a smooth caramel coloured handle, the crossguard has a Puma head to either end with the Bulgarian Royal Lion within a shield emblem in the central area of the crossguard with the Bulgarian Military Order of Bravery on the other side - this is a variation of the Bulgarian army officers dagger of this period.
The black metal scabbard has a Pumas head emblem with the original leather and metal hangers have an unidentified German mark "A" with a small spread Eagle above the A.
